We had our annual Halloween (adult) Party this year on 22 October 2011! The house looked great with Ken and Everett putting up a "forest" around the main floor.
Ken and I have always wanted to dress up as The Scarlet Pimpernell and his lady Marguerite. We finally got to this year! It was fun and actually quite educational as to how they dressed and why they needed help getting dressed and undressed! Jessica helped me and I decided that I am quite grateful for the time I live in!
We had a big turn out with lots of yummy treats and munchies! Awards went out to best couples costumes, funniest, best snack and best Halloween story!
Brock and Ashley came as the Devil and an Angel! Caryssa was a Christmas ornament! and Everett was the chicken rider! Actually it was an ostrich but everyone kept calling him "The Chicken Rider"!
We had a great time laughing and trying to figure out who we were! (We had a label on our back with the name of something to do with Halloween and we had to ask yes or no questions to figure it out!) This is a tradition that we hope to continue forever! Halloween isn't just for kids!
